The 24 Worst Bad MLS Photos of the Year

Ive been mailed hundreds of submissions this year, most fall into two main types. One group are photos of simply ugly homes and generally filled with clutter. The second group are photos of dependably inept photography, were talking dark rooms, nuclear bomb blast windows, crooked, dust particle reflections, the realtor standing in the bathroom mirror reflections. That sort of thing.

But then there are those special few that push the envelope into uncharted waters and make you fearful that the agent in question could be out there adding to the gene pool. Ive narrowed them down to my 24 of my personal favorite photos. Im building towards a proper hoopla thingy for the 1 year anniversary of the post.

In any case, if you want to vote, just leave a comment for however many are your favorite Bad MLS Photo of the Day posts. Ill count them up at some point.

#341. Entitled This Offer Is Even Less Than The First Two We Refused we a greeted with an exciting use of color and texture. The artist makes bold statements in this neo postmodern expressionism with the use of smoldering reds, violent greens and broken glass blues. The master stroke is the juxtaposition of the deep gouging of the MLS watermark, searing into the flesh of the piece as if to say, heres where we lived, loved and breathed now reduced to mere commodity peddled on a shameless market.

Pimping My Mom

Heres the photo my Mom (or for my six New Zealand readers Mum) sent me.

Attached is a pretty good picture of the townhouses, could you please blue the sky for me - not too bright though. Its a late afternoon shot so the sky was bright and pale. Im starting to take pictures for the advertising for the next door townhouse - the ex-owner is planning to move out around the 20th of next month, then we can get to and start filling it with furniture and taking some pictures too. We live in the right hand one and have bought the middle one

Color filled the sky, graduated blue filter on the sky, brightened and then turned the warmth up a lot to get a more twilighty feel.

Now I have to wait and see if Im ever allowed home.
